Guns, Germs and Steel

In addition to the ASU book of the summer, Iron and Silk by Mark Salzman, Watauga College students should also read Jared Diamond's Pulitzer Prize-winning book Guns, Germs and Steel. This book argues that both geography and the environment played major roles in determining the shape of the modern world.
