When an instructor needs a desk copy of a book for class, first check the Publisher Desk Copy Request Information list below for desk copy request information. If the publisher you need isn't listed there, search the publisher's web page for a way to order free desk copies (sometimes you may need to search for "exam copies" to find the information you need). If you can't find any information on their site, call their customer service number to find out the process for submitting a desk copy request.
Folks in the bookstore are helpful when problems come up with desk copies (out of print, unable to find publisher, etc.).
Desk Copy Requests usually require most or all of the information listed below (it varies from publisher to publisher). On some publisher sites, instructions may be a bit vague (i.e. fax desk copy requests to this number). In those cases, please include all of the following information.
